Ashtar and the Ashtar Command
These messages are in response to questions posed by readers in a message folder that I posted on AOL some time ago. Since they answer recent questions I have received, I am sharing them again.
“I am Ashtar, of the Ashtar Command. I bid you all welcome and thank you for your attention.
Many have expressed concerns as to the bizarre and unprecedented weather patterns that have plagued the planet recently. Please know that all events are those of the patterns chosen by the Earth herself in this time of cleansing. The ferocity of these changes, El Nino, the furious storms, the floods and tidal waves, even the earthquakes and forest fires, all point to the need for cleansing the planet of the damage that has been done to her in the past, damage that continues today. The cleansing that is taking place is not the all-out devastation that was predicted by the seers of yesterday. Nostradamus, Edgar Cayce, and Paul Solomon were several who foresaw the almost total destruction of the civilization and technological advances of mankind in the cleansing process, returning mankind to the primitive and survival centered life of the Neanderthal period.
The recent times have done much to lessen the need for total destruction seen by those seers, as tens of thousands of Lightworkers the world over have awakened to their identities and have begun in earnest the missions for which they have come. As the Lightworkers have anchored the light of the creator deep within the planet’s core, much has been accomplished in terms of the transmutation of negative energy so prevalent through the decades of the 1900’s to a softer and more gentle energy that can be utilized by Gaia in her cleansing process. Though there may still be areas that will experience devastation and destruction, the overall cleansing process will be much more easily accomplished than earlier believed.
These earth changes will still be challenging and may still provide the catalyst for many who wish to return to the world of spirit rather than experience the physical difficulties that a majority of inhabitants will undergo. These decisions were made before the entry of the soul into the physical vehicle, however, and will be honored, as always.
Please remember the presence of untold members of those from the angelic realms and those in spirit who have elected to give guidance and direction during these trying times. Though the experience may seem difficult at times and the challenges test the utmost capacity to endure, hold before you the vision of the final outcome: the return of the Earth to the beautiful and pristine condition that once she and all the inhabitants enjoyed.

Dear Lightworkers and friends, the questions that you have put forth are not to be answered in a single evening, even for one as dedicated as this channeler. Each is so involved that the answers could fill a volume and still not contain all the wisdom on the subject. Since the mission of providing information to you all in ongoing, let me begin at the beginning, so to speak, with a little lesson on perceptions and how and why so many versions of the same story exist.
The question has been asked of the origins of the Lightworkers and the story behind their arrival in this part of the Universe. This section of the Universe is a three-dimensional based existence and any information given here must be appropriately phrased or it will have no meaning. This, in itself, limits us to analogies and examples. There is no point in speaking of the red primates who inhabit the small planet fourth from the blue dwarf star in the next galaxy, for you have no frame of reference for any in this example. The limitations of twentieth (and twenty-first) century American English are made a little easier by the familiarity of science fiction and the esoteric material to which most who frequent this column have already been exposed. It is still like trying to explain electricity to someone who has never seen a light bulb, or snow to someone who has lived all his or her life in a desert. Not impossible, but definitely not easy. So with that in mind, a few words on perceptions and memories.
In recall, whether it be last week, last month, or last lifetime, there is a tendency of the mind to recreate that which it does not fully remember and to embellish the details to make the recalling an interesting experience. This is human and it is okay. When several people witness an event, seldom will the accounts of two people correspond with what truly happened. If six people witness an auto accident, there will be eight versions, as the saying goes. Each perspective, each view will be different and each belief system of the witness will be different than the next. So when I tell you a story of the origins of human intelligent life on this planet, or its arrival in this part of the galaxy, you may “see” within your mind a wholly different way than the channel who types these words, for example. Your recollections of the times I will tell you about depend on the amount of emotion stored within the soul about these things. If an event was traumatic, it tends to be remembered in more detail than the ordinary Sunday afternoon’s outings to the park. The extent to which the emotions are involved play an enormous part in this.
Those who arrived here as part of a scientific team to study the flora and fauna will have a much lower emotional response than those who arrived here one step ahead of the marauders who followed them from Mars in the hopes of wiping out the band of rebels who refused to bow and pledge allegiance to the reptilian overlord in power. See what I mean? Does that mean that the story of the science team has no merit or worth? Not at all. Because the emotional level of the rebels caused the soul to remember the trauma, fear, and panic of those days, the ones who fled the red planet have a more intense soul memory of that time and will resonate to a tale of those times. The scientific team, having experienced more harrowing or exciting times on other expeditions, might scarcely recall the arrival on this beautiful garden planet at all.
So you must understand and accept that the differences are here. The resonance or soul recall of one version does not mitigate the validity of the other.
In terms of past lives, there is this discrepancy and others which are difficult for the logical mind to overcome. One of these is the reality of multiple souls sharing existence in a single incarnation. We are not speaking of a "Sybil" or multiple personalities here, but rather of several souls sharing consciousness within one human vehicle for the purpose of experiencing a key lifetime at a crucial point in the planet's history, merging the talents and abilities of several gifted souls in order to accomplish an extraordinary mission. There are several of you who have participated in this kind of experience, either in the shared consciousness or the intimate sharing of life with a partner who experienced this. We will speak of a very special situation in which this occurred with many in a specific time in history at a later time.
Another situation which distorts the telling of an ancient event is that of multiple timelines or alternate dimensions. In one timeline, the hero marries the heroine and they live happily ever after. In a second, the hero absconds with the gold and takes up with the barmaid. In a third, the heroine runs the hero through with a blade because she doesn’t want to share the gold or the barmaid. In a fourth…well, you get the picture. Each decision made sets another timeline, another possibility in motion. Sue recalls a life as Cleopatra and is sure that Antony is the love of her life. Claudia also recalls being Cleo, but remembers Julius Caesar with great love and tolerated Antony’s presence only to help her son after Caesar’s death. Who is right? Both, for each has experienced the lifetime as Cleopatra on a different timeline and in a different set of circumstances.
This information is also a message about discernment. Do not judge the messenger by the message, for the reality that resonates within your heart may be an entirely different one than the one which resonates within your brother, uncle, friend, neighbor, or lover. All experiences are valid and all present extraordinary opportunities for growth and development. You do not have to accept as truth any message or word which does not resonate with the truth of light within you. But do not judge it as worthless, for it may resonate as truth within the heart of another. Each has a direction and an agenda for existence. All are to be honored and respected. Whether you accept as truth is your personal decision to make, and one not to be turned easily to another’s wishes, we might add. Listen to all, but be not easily swayed from the path which resonates to you and calls your feet to walk upon it.
To those who may feel that this information has little interest, we ask you to read once more and to allow the message to be seen We present this information in love of the Father/Mother/Universe and for the awakening and opening of all to the reality and presence of the light within.
