Lightworkers: This is the last of three channelings from Ashtar that I have been asked to share with you. The first two appeared in last week’s column and can be accessed at the scroll bar to the right. This addresses the question of those called “Lightworkers”, who they are and what their mission on earth entails. I am Ashtar, of the Ashtar Command. The term “Lightworkers” refers to those who have served the light of the creator from their creation and have now incarnated on earth to assist in the final transformation to light that Gaia is now experiencing. This part of the Universe is the final holdout for the forces that you might call “the dark”, those who have come to this free will zone and have used their considerable power as co-creators with God (as we all are) to disrupt the progression of light and to enslave physically, emotionally, or spiritually souls involved in the learning process that has come to be known on this planet as reincarnation. Do not think that this is the only planet or even solar system where this struggle is taking place. In many dimensions and parallels this struggle continues. Now that transformation to Light is upon us here and the final outcome assured in spirit, the forces who choose to stay separate from the Light of God are massing for the final onslaught. In the years ahead, there will be many opportunities presented in which it will be all too easy to give up and to allow the negativity and hopelessness of the situation to overcome the knowledge that the Light of God is always triumphant. I speak now of some of those places hardest hit by physical disasters. It is the tendency of mankind when faced with these challenges to respond in one of two ways: with the charity of heart, opening to the plight of others and sharing resources; or allowing the fear of lack or physical comfort to take precedence and taking or holding by force the resources needed by many. Sometimes both things occur at the same time. Lightworkers have been referred to as “systems busters” by the Pleaideans, and so you are. You are a force that has served together in many times and places in the many Universes of the Creator to bring in the Light and the knowledge of the love available just for the opening to it. You move into a situation of beliefs and perceptions, a system of control and oppression, and you bring the most radical thoughts and beliefs and back them up with the physical proof that mankind is not meant to live in fear of the darkness. But to bask in the warmth and the comfort of God’s light and love. This is indeed heresy to those systems that promote the continued emotional, physical, or spiritual control of the masses, organized religion and the individual politics of nations being the most prominent of these at this time. Many of you have incarnated time and time again on this planet in the attempt to bring lasting peace and joy and Light, teaching the realities of free will and trying to empower the inhabitants by sharing the esoteric teachings and knowledge that illustrate this truth. Sometimes the words and teachings of those who are primary messengers are distorted, twisted, or repressed to prevent freedom from bondage that the earnest applications of these truths would allow. Such was the case with Jeshua/Sananda during the incarnation in Palestine 2,000 years ago. Discussion of this would take several volumes, but those who remember the words and the intent of those teachings recognize the truth of this. Again, the Lightworkers, you, my very dear friends and comrades, with those of us who have elected to remain in spirit for this round, have gathered to bring the truth and the Light of the Creator to all who walk this planet’s beauty. It is your selfless and concentrated efforts that will prevail, helping the planet and all who live upon/within her to “make the jump to Light” and to shine with the light of ten thousand suns in the glory of God’s love. We thank you for your dedicated efforts and your courage. Enjoy each day of this grand and glorious adventure!” These messages from Ashtar are timely and you can recognize the issues that we face on the planet today. The struggles of the oppressed in Afghanistan, in Palestine and Israel, in many of the African countries and the religious persecution and oppression by those who wish to control the masses by controlling their beliefs are prevalent on the planet. Where there is a system that prohibits people from listening to their own inner guidance and denies the free will ordained by the Creator to make their own decisions in matters of spirituality, there will be clashes of both ideology and physical struggles. Mankind instinctively recognizes that free will is a gift from God that must be utilized if humankind is ever to achieve the evolution and transformation that awaits it. Religious persecution was made up close and personal to a group of teenage Bible study students in Jacksonville recently, according to an article in the Times-Union today. These teens were horrified when their study group was invaded (by members of the church to make a point), their Bibles torn from their hands, and their wrists bound behind them. They were blindfolded and taken to another location where they were forbidden to speak to one another about their beliefs, even to reassure one another. It made them realize how precious the religious freedoms that we have in this country are and how much most of us take them for granted. Other people on the planet are not as fortunate. In the late 1940s, after WWII ended, the Chinese Army moved into Tibet and “liberated” the country that had governed itself for hundreds of years. The Dalai Lama, the religious leader of the Tibetan Buddhists, refused to allow the Chinese to control him and disguised himself and his closest aides and fled to India rather than allow the Chinese to imprison him. In the process of recovering land that the Chinese government claimed had been theirs hundreds of years ago, they destroyed thousands of monasteries, nearly 6,000, it was estimated, and mercilessly slaughtered more than a million Tibetans. That is religious persecution. The recent confrontations in the areas of Yugoslavia formerly controlled by the Soviet Union actually boiled down to a religious feud between Muslims, Roman Catholic, and Orthodox Christians, Serbs and Croats. Not only was religion a factor, but genetic and racial factors played a part. Almost from one day to the next, neighbors who had lived next door to one another, gone to the same schools, and worked at the same places became embroiled in the “them against us” battle and the Bosnian war resulted in horrendous destruction and death. The triumphs and joys of the Sarajevo Winter Olympic Games were forgotten as men, women, and children were slaughtered because of their perceived differences. The ongoing conflicts in Northern Ireland, though rooted in some political differences, actually can be traced strictly to the religious persecution of Irish Catholics by the British backed Protestants, and this goes back several hundred years! Catholic missionaries, nuns as well as priests, have been tortured, raped, and murdered because of their religious beliefs and their attempts to improve the living conditions of the poorest people in Latin and South America. Some have been caused by politics; some have been religious caused. Going back in history, the persecution of the Jewish race has been ongoing from almost the beginning of history. Rome persecuted the early Christians, until the Roman emperors realized that they could not stop the beliefs, but they could control the masses by controlling the religion. Thus the Roman Catholic Church was born, who in turn persecuted the Cathors, the Wiccans, Pagans, Muslims, Moors, and so on. The Catholic church offered Native Americans in the newly discovered western hemisphere the choice of converting or being slaughtered, and thousands died for refusing to give up their beliefs, beliefs that spoke of the earth being their Mother and all life being sacred. It seems as though each generation has found some new religious belief to try to convert or destroy. In some less educated and open places in this country, the right-wing Christian Coalitian decided that they alone had the right to be the watchdog for this country’s morality and spirituality. So whatever did not agree with their narrow and very fundamental Christian ways of looking at things was denigrated and denounced. Before I receive countless email demanding my head, let me point out that I was raised as a Christian and revere Christ as the perfect example of the enlightenment I can attain someday, but I refuse to allow some group of “holier than thou” people who think by reason of their theological degrees and ministerial certificates (I have one, too) to dictate what I can believe or think or speak. I am a professional psychic. I channel wisdom from highly evolved spiritual beings, just like the Old Testament prophets did when they wrote the books of the Bible. I use intuition, can sense things that will happen (as did Jesus when he foresaw the destruction of Jerusalem) and am involved in energy healing, also as Jesus did. The gifts I have were given to me by the Creator, whatever name you call him or her or it and it is by virtue of the love and light I have received that I use those gifts to his/her glory. I apologize if I have been harsh and offended any who have read these words. I believe that religious persecution, like racial persecution, is a spit in the eye of God who made all of humankind in his/her image. God is a part of all life; all life is a part of God. The sooner all of us realize it, recognize it, and above all, live it, the sooner we can evolve into the truly light-filled beings of love and joy that we are destined to become. |
